The ultimate Cape Town luxury travel package

Cape Town is the second most desirable travel destination in the world! US based Travel and Leisure magazine’s readers voted for Cape Town over other cities such as Rome, New York and Sydney.

So what makes Cape Town the Mother of all cities? We have put together the ultimate luxury 4-day travel, tour, and accommodation package. Enjoy a decadent fling on our sunny shores while we do all the work.

Now sit back, relax, and enjoy the trip!

One & Only, Cape Town, V & A Waterfront

One & Only, Cape Town, V & A Waterfront

Day 1: Arriving at heaven’s door. We have arranged for a slinky limousine to collect you from the Cape Town International airport. You can enjoy sipping on a local bubbly as you are driven to Sol Kerzner’s six star hotel, The One&Only, at the world-famous V&A Waterfront. You are booked into an island suite with a private balcony and you have the discreet services of your own butler. Shake off the jet-lag with an indulgent treatment at their world class spa. It’s time for cocktails and watching the sun set over the majestic Table Mountain before you are spirited away for a gourmet dinner prepared by Michelin-starred chef, Gordon Ramsay.

Cable Car, Table Mountain, Cape Town

Day 2: Table Mountain, al fresco lunch, and night clubbing. A Cape Town vacation is not complete without a trip up Table Mountain. Champagne breakfast is served as you enjoy a 360° view of Cape Town, Table Bay to False Bay, and around the mountain to the Hout Bay Valley. A rotating cable car travels up and down throughout the day and the athletic types can choose one of 350 recognized paths to the summit. Levels of fitness required vary from a casual stroll to a white-knuckle scramble up the mountain. Or, you can abseil down a 112 meter drop!

After soaking up the magnificent scenery you will be chauffeured in a vintage car, let’s say an Aston Martin DBs, for a leisurely drive to the naval village of Simon’s Town. Take time out to visit the quaint seaside villages of Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek and Kommetjie. You can explore the little villages which are filled with antique shops, bookshops, and cosy restaurants serving ocean fresh seafood. For the more adventurous we will arrange shark cage diving, kayaking with penguins, or whale watching trips. Upon reaching Simon’s Town, your late lunch is about to be served on the beach - weather permitting. A private table is prepared for you and it is groaning with crayfish, langoustines, oysters, and the freshest linefish sourced locally. Driving back to Cape Town you can watch the sun set across the Peninsula, or stop over for cocktails at the trendy Cafe Caprice in Camps Bay, where you can rub shoulders with local and international celebrities.

Kick off the evening’s festivities on a high note with pre-drinks on the roof of the Grand Daddy Hotel in the vibrant Long Street. Afterward a chauffeur will escort you from the hotel to the lobby of the nightclub where you can safely groove away with the locals in a VIP lounge.

Call your personal butler for a very, very late scrumptious gourmet burger served in the comfort of your hotel room.

Two Oceans Aquarium, Cape Town

Day 3: Shopping, wine tasting, and African haute cuisine. You can spend the morning at leisure by shopping at 400 world class retail shops at the V&A Waterfront. Find your favourite labels such as Fabiani, Levis, Diesel, Jimmy Choo and hundreds more. Or experiment with our local offerings such as Sun Goddess and YDE. A variety of restaurants, cafes and bars are scattered all across the V&A Waterfront. Some of the finest sushi in the world can be found at Willougbys, and the bars are stocked with the largest selections of fine whiskey and wine - this side of the equator. African curios are also available here. The Two Oceans Aquarium is one of the world’s most diverse and beautiful, and you can even scuba dive with ragged tooth sharks.

In the early afternoon you will be collected in a side-car motorbike for a drive through the Cape Winelands that includes Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. All along the route wine farms offer wine, cheese and chocolate tastings. It’s the perfect time to stock up on gifts for your friends. Lunch is served at Reuben’s Restaurant in Franschhoek. Reuben Riffel is one of South Africa’s premier chefs. And take the rest of the afternoon off for a stroll through pretty little streets in Franschhoek.

You will spend the night at the boutique hotel, Le Quartier Francaise, in the heart of Franschhoek. But you can’t go to bed without experiencing award-winning chef Margot Janse’s 8-course tasting dinner at The Tasting Room, voted as one of the world’s 50 top restaurants for two consecutive years.

Hot Air Ballooning, Winelands

Day 4: Up, up and away… What better way to experience the bucolic beauty of the Cape Winelands while the sun climbs out of the treetops before you. There’s only one way to do it: secure in the spacious basket of a hot air balloon. Glide serenely across the flowing vineyards, and rugged mountain ranges. If the weather is not playing along we will arrange a romantic bi-plane flight in a Chipmunk or a microlight flight. Afterward you can enjoy an al fresco breakfast in Paarl under giant oak trees.

All good things must come to an end. It is time for your limousine to take you back to the airport. And now you should have a good idea of what you would like to spend more time on, next time that you are in Cape Town.
